I try to choose products to review about which I can be positive. Balance is important but in the end I usually prefer to talk about those I can recommend. Unfortunately, in the case of the Blanco Stellar single sink line, I can’t do that in an unqualified way. So, this review will be more along the lines of “Wish I could, but there are some serious drawbacks here.”
The Kraus KHF200 series is a set of apron-style stainless steel sinks. That’s a pretty plain vanilla description for models that will be ideal for some, no way to others. That divergence of opinion is just what makes the world go ’round… and gives headaches – and joy – to kitchen remodelers everywhere.
The Kohler Whitehaven K-6489 is a sink choice that some would never make. Others wouldn’t consider anything else. Why the different views? Because the K-6489 is an apron sink – a style that used to be everywhere and now is often considered a specialty item. Looking at the features of this unusual offering makes it plain why that is.
I concede that the name Swanstone QZLS-3322 isn’t exactly sexy. But the sink is, at least to those who find sinks alluring (like yours truly). Still, you don’t have much reason at this stage to share my feelings. Let me give you a few.
The KBU2x line of sinks has a lot in common with its cousins in the KBU1x series. Each KUB2x model also has much in common with its siblings. But it’s the differences that are most interesting. We’ll compare both to give you an idea which one, if any, might be best for you.
Kraus is justly famous for their line of fine faucets, but they might be even better known for the excellent kitchen sinks they produce. The KBU1x series is a great example. They offer a variety of sizes, mount styles, materials, and designs to suit anyone’s needs and taste.
